Four Nations, LuCUH, Combine and 20 Sports Links from the West Coast
Folks can’t stop talking about the Four Nations event. The NHL hosted their first mini friendly tourney, instead of a traditional All-Star game.
There were no players who were born in the Pacific time zone. The Vegas Knights were represented with forward Jack Eichel and defensemen Noah Hanifin on Team USA. The Canadian team featured Knights forward Mark Stone, defensemen Shea Theodore and goalie Adin Hill. Kings defensemen Drew Doughty played for them too. Seattle Kraken forward Kaapo Kakko played for Team Finland. Kings forward Adrian Kempe and Anaheim Ducks forward Leo Carisson were part of the Sweden Team.
The NBA could not stop talking about Luka. He took on the Mavericks Tuesday night. Social media ran away with Doncic’s coming out party.
The NFL Combine begins this week and folks are all talking Pete Carroll’s travel arrangements with the Raiders.
The NBA did the right thing honoring Oakland with the All Star Game’s festivities on Friday and Saturday night.
UP NEXT: NHL trade deadline approaches and rumors are heating up. All the top college football prospects will also flock to Indianapolis for the annual NFL Scouting Combine. Expect lots of rumors.
