This week is all about roster moves in the NFL. Here are some of the notable moves:

Otherwise, the Mariners made a big splash by firing manager Scott Servais in the middle of a playoff run. Servais was in his ninth season. He was replaced by Dan Wilson. Wilson has never coached before but he was a catcher and served as a special assignment coordinator the club.

Meanwhile, the Angels gave general manager Perry Minasian a two-year extension. He was at the end of his four-year deal. Anaheim will miss the playoffs for the 10th consecutive year in 2024. They can soon clinch their ninth consecutive losing record too.

What to watch? Sounders and LAFC meet in the U.S. Open. Seattle can win their fifth U.S. Open Cup.
